Always Green Campaign
About the project
The „Always Green” Campaign started in 2008 under the slogan „Let’s plant our future together!”. With the support of local and national authorities, our project involves planting and greening actions. The main goal of this campaign is to make people and particularly young generations understand the importance of protecting the environment for the benefit of both nature and humans.
At the Kronospan Foundation, we are aware of the damages of massive deforestation upon biodiversity, local climate change and the quality of the air. This is why we promote responsible forest management and reforestation which actively contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
The “Always Green” Campaign aims to teach the volunteers taking part in this annual project how to prevent pollution and lead life in environmentally friendly as well as economically beneficial ways.
The overall goal is not only to protect the environment, but also to set up guide lines for long-term sustainable environmental management. We want to convey to our youth that planting new seeds is an act of putting down roots hence contributing towards the future.

Magnolia Seeding Campaign - Brasov
In 2012, the members of the Kronospan Foundation along with volunteers from all around Brasov participated in the „Always Green” campaign by planting over 200 seeds of magnolia in several neighborhoods of the city. As a part of our commitment to protect the environment and to educate young generations in the spirit of eco-responsibility, we were happy to mobilize students from local high-schools and university through the same cause.
